Paradise Garden Msambweni

Paradise Garden Msambweni

Ideas for an excursion

Whether you want to walk to the village, cycle in the picturesque Kenyan coastside, plan a day trip or organise a safari, we will be happy to give you our recommendations.

Our village

  • Msambweni is a village, which is mainly inhabited by the Digo tribe. It is quiet and peaceful here. Now and then the muhezzin sings or a festival atmosphere falls over the village for a wedding.
  • 25 km north of Msambweni is the large tourist area of Diani Beach and 30 km further is the lively town Mombasa. The Tanzanian border is a little more than 50 km to the south.
  • Enjoy a walk on the beach or in the village orimmerse yourself in the coastside with its unique flora and fauna. Our warm sea water (average temperature 26° C) makes fishing or snorkelling with the locals an unforgettable experience. Or simply enjoy the breath-taking scenery far away from mass tourism.
  • The village has small African shops, typical of the country, where you can buy the essentials.
  • On request, fishermen bring fresh fish with the "catch of the day" directly to the resort.
  • Every Sunday there is an African market in the village.
  • Msambweni has a government hospital, as well as several private clinics with their own ambulances.
